Shola Sings Motown is a classy, high-energy, solo show that spotlights some of Motowns best-loved material. Featuring all time greats from favourite Motown artists such as Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Temptations and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, this show is designed to get you on the dance floor and keep you there! Shola is available for parties, corporate functions, weddings and other special events.

Shola provides all the grace, glitz and glamour required of a true diva. She takes to the stage wearing beautiful custom-designed evening gowns and truly looks the part with her graceful silhouette, lovely smile, beehive hairdo and diamante jewellery. For a more fun option, Shola can get the party started in sassy mini-dresses and go-go boots. You choose!

Sholas vocals have been described as sounding like chocolate soul. She has a powerful, smooth yet expressive voice which attracts positive feedback wherever she sings. With a warm, inviting stage presence and charming persona, its hard not to be enthralled by her performance.

A favourite part of the show is when Shola invites two of the audience up on stage to be The Supremes. With their own microphones and tambourines, Shola runs through a dance routine with them before the backing singers perform a song with her, much to the delight of everyone watching.

'Shola Sings Motown' is an extremely stylish act with personalised backdrop and light/sound technician where requried.

About Shola
Shola Kaye is a London-based singer who has performed at Shepherd's Bush Empire, Hyde Park and many other venues in the UK and Europe - as well as singing live in New York and Los Angeles.

Shola spent eight years living in the United States, where she began working with one of the world's top vocal coaches, Seth Riggs (Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole and the late Luther Vandross are among his many star pupils).

Shola has performed at gigs supporting stars such as Paul Young and Tony Hadley and has entertained at many weddings and corporate functions in front of audiences as large as 15,000 people. She currently features in the hit Motown show, "How Sweet It Is" and appears in front of hundreds of people every week. She also performs with a live jazz band as well as offering mini-tributes to Diana Ross or to Michael Jackson during her show.

The Motown show can also be performed with a live band. A DJ option is available for before and after the show.

Booking 'Shola Sings Motown' is a high quality, stress-free solution as Shola provides her own lighting rig as well as a custom-designed backdrop to create a unique atmosphere for your enjoyment along with an optional stage manager/sound engineer to ensure that everything runs smoothly. She also has a variety of PAT tested PAs available, matched to the size of your venue and number of guests. Shola also has public liability insurance of 10 million.

Gigs without the sound engineer use a 500W Yamaha Stagepas system, and lighting.

Gigs with the sound engineer can include a disco before and after the show and come with a HK Actor system 5kW PA system.

A live band option is also available.

You can also have a set of jazz or a mini-set of Jackson 5 or Diana Ross before the Motown party set. You choose!
